No
person shall move, talk or stand close to or
directly behind the ball or hole when a player
is addressing a ball or making a stroke. |
2. |
The
player who has the honour shall be allowed to
play before their opponent or fellow competitor

3. |
No
player shall play until players in front are
out of range. |
4. |
In
the interest of all, players should play without
delay, by moving in the direction of their ball,
rather than waiting in groups as each player
hits. |
5. |
Call
next group through promptly when searching for
a lost ball. |
6. |
If
a match fails to hold its place in the field,
and loses a hole on the players in front, it
MUST ALLOW THE FOLLOWING GROUP TO PASS THROUGH.
It is the duty of the lowest handicapper in
the group to enforce this rule and the general
etiquette. |
7. |
Players
searching for a ball should not search for five
minutes before calling the following group through.
They should not continue play until this group
of players have passed and are out of range. |
8. |
When
play of a hole has been completed, players should
immediately leave the putting green and proceed
to the next tee. |
