The Manjimup Country Club has gained a reputation for the outstanding events they conduct each year.

In 2002 the Kristoffersson Cup event was introduced to promote the local furniture and wine industries. A 36 hole Stableford event for men and women held over two days on the second weekend in February, it has attracted large fields and proved to be very popular. For 2009, see details below.

The unique Manjimup Shootout commenced in 2005. This event sponsored by Newman and Brooks, consists of a 4BBB stroke on the first day and a 2 person Ambrose on the second. Held in May, the event is for men and women. Event to be held 2nd, 3rd, 4th May 2008. Entries close 19th April 2008.

The JB Ipsen Memorial Event commenced in 1977 and is traditionally held on the last weekend in October. The 36 hole nett event attracts a capacity field each year with players from all over the state competing.

For all competitions, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to our many SPONSORS. We are extremely grateful for the time, effort and contributions you make so that this tournament remains one of the highlights of the South West winter season.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PLAY:

1. Entrants must have an approved handicap.

2. The competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and Local Rules of the Manjimup Country Club.

3. The Match Committee of the Club is in charge of the competition and

a) It reserves the right to accept or refuse and entry and to restrict the number of entries

b) .It shall decide the method to be employed in the event of a tie.

c) No player is eligible for more than one trophy.

4. Age category trophies apply to the entrant's age as at the close of nominations.
